The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Five is preparing design plans to widen approximately 5 miles of State Road (SR) 40 widening final design project for the segment from the end of the existing 4 lanes near Silver Springs to County Road (CR) 314 in Marion County. Information on this web site will provide an overview of the project, the project schedule, dates and locations for public information meetings and project contact information. Please check back often for web site updates.
